Nope, I’m not trying to speak ‘leet’, I’m just wondering what these evil HDD-space-munching files from hell are. They appeared when I had my back turned, and I dunno where they came from or what they do, anyone?

Oh BTW that’s my etmain folder

Oh well, I just deleted them and nothing bad seems to have happened. My comp didn’t blow up, ET and Radiant still work, so it’s all good :slight_smile: Would still like to know where they came from though, I don’t like rouge software creating 1.55Gb of useless files for no reason :frowning:

u cud of tried opening them up in winzip.

They do look very wierd, but where exactly are they located? Try having a look at them in a text editor? You sure they are not snap shots of your map file?

then he must have a very big map, cause the files are all over 200 MB :bump:

I couldn’t open them in Winrar or a text editor, since I was running really low on discspace & RAM and was busying compling and stuff, it would have killed my comp to open those :slight_smile: Had no choice but to delete to make some room. (BTW Sock they were located in etmain/)

Hehe nah my map is only about 11MB.
Oh well… weird
