Wow. Great as usual Renpsy.
The Juggler! We finally have an answer to this mystery!

Uhm, can you actually use the objects for a double delivery and such? Can you duplicate it 8 times and try an permanent flow of the objectives on maps like Dome? Seems pretty gamebreaking to me lol

No the duplicate objective can’t be used to score, however you could use the trick to fool people into thinking you have the objective.

Good to hear it can’t lead to abusing

For Pineapple Juggler, why not make it so you don’t HAVE to interact with to pick it up?

It just catches the nade, resets the fuse, and throws it back?

I feel like that would make it a bit TOO good, you wouldn’t need to do other than run at the grenades. Or you might do it literally by accident, you’re just merrily shooting away at nerds when suddenly you just throw a grenade because fragger threw one at your back, not knowing you had pineapplejuggler

(Naonna) #7

So it’s only useful against 2 mercs… one, if we assume any decent Fragger cooks his nades. I sense a flaw here…

(RyePanda) #8

This is a complex one. When waiting to spawn after dying and you change mercs, which merc gets the cooldown that occurs while waiting? It is the one that you died with? the one you spawn with? do they both get it based on the amount of time you had them selected?

I had the Stoker/Fletcher throwable thing happen a few days ago, funny because I remember someone mentioning that in the mythbuster proposal thread. Good video!

You risk yourlife, but for example instead of throwing back, what about put the pin again ? So you neutralize it

you know you can’t do that once the lever has been pulled back

(ThiagoJaqueta) #12

Nice, however I would like more if you make the music volume lower, and comment about what’s going on.

(Mr-Penguin) #14

Great, now I need to perfect the Data Core duplication technique so that I can create 20 duplicates in case my team screws up.

Was this meant to work on purpose or a bug?

(RyePanda) #16

You don’t actually duplicate the objective, it just looks like you have one but I don’t think you can actually deliver it.

(Mr-Penguin) #17

Are the duplicates on the ground interactable?

(RyePanda) #18

I don’t think you can put a duplicate on the ground either.

(fubar) #19

Your “merc state” doesn’t change up until you actually spawn. This implies if you were skyhammer, you died and had 20 seconds to respawn, these full 20 seconds would count towards the cooldown of skyhammer’s ability - every time, until you re-spawned.

(Jostabeere) #20

@APRenpsy I’m still pretty interested about that duplicate-thing.
So you can get duplicated objectives. I have some theoretical questions I hope you can answer:
If you have multiple, which one counts for the delivery? Can they all used for the delivery?
If you deliver one, do the duplicated ones disappear?
If you kill someone with a duplicated objective, what happens then? Can you return a duplicate? will it disappear? Do you get points? (I hope not) Will it stay and you can spam a whole map with Placebo-Objectives?
