what happened was london held the largest cod competition to ever take place. It was the release of the new cod “the blackest ops ever 5” and everyone came from all around the globe to play.

It was at this time that a hidden force who favored a different style of fps decided to take action by systematically planting dirty bombs all over the city. They ten used mercs to insure that the majority of cod players stayed in the city limits until dead.

Now small skirmish wars are being waged between the companies left over who all want to insure cod stays dead. This is the point of all objectives, because as we know, cod players regenerate health quickly when hidden.

The announcers are a brother and sister who constantly fight with each other.
Now that the DB incident happened they took it to the next level and hired mercs who to them are just pawns for their little game.

That only affects Objective, I understand not everyone plays that mode, but even still I was able to play with my friend. Sometimes we’re on a team, sometimes we are not… still had a lot of fun playing with my friend nonetheless. If you want to play with your friend then just do Stopwatch, it’s the exact same as Objective just twice as long(Potentially).

They do want to add a party system though, maybe for 2-3 people which I think is a fair amount since anything more and you might as well be playing Competitive.

Post-disaster London in the future with cybernetics and nanotechnology. This just scream cyberpunk. So my guess is that it was caused by unknown mercenary-terrorists hired by a megacorperation to create a field testing ground for new technologies, medical and military while at the same time giving them carte blanche to steal from other corporations and cause untold damage on their rivals. The other corps not willing to set idle while their competitors steal their research, nor willing to miss an opportunity, hires mercenaries to protect their assets (might as well field test some new equipment while they’re at it).
