So i recently bought guardian, and there are my OPINIONS.
In general —
Guardian is a fun and unique medic, with no sustain, but faster than other assaults, and a new primary, and secondary. The Hurstall2k is honestly pretty good and fun. Nothing is more satisfying then shredding down every normal hp merc (assuming u know how to aim headshots).
Primary — Hurtsall2K
It was first really hard to adapt to it, because I played so much precious shar-c javelin. Its pretty much the opposite, but when you get in the “hurtsall” mood you can really do some damage. As a rapid-fire AR, it really isn’t that inaccurate. Unlike the Shar-c, you dont NEED to aim at least 1/3 headshots to make up for the spread to come. Also more forgiving, and just plain fun (as saiddd).
Secondary — Hoigat.224
I admit I haven’t used it that much, but from the time I have used it, its meh. It basically feels like a spammier m9.
Melee — Batons
Also havent used it that much, its idk… XD hold up
Primary Ability - Sky Shield
Ohhhhh god here we go. This is a rather complicated ability to explain tbh. Assuming you are in a situation where the enemy team has 4/7 projectile mercs, youll do great. The only issue with it is how it works. It basically has a paradox. If you want effective neutralizing, you need to put it in the open, however if you do itll get shot down quick. So then you put it in a safe space, itll do nothing except take down air support. Another thing is how much you actually help, but dont get recognized for. Anyone with common sense wont waste their ability on an obvious as hell shield. Although you are stopping them from using their ability, you get 0 exp.
Something I would like to see is 50 exp for placing the drone, and then 50 exp per projectile merc in a certain radius (according to the shield) every 2 seconds. And name it like “Deny exp” or something.
Secondary Ability — Bionic Pulse
Honestly this is just good… When it first came out it was pretty mierda, charge it for more than .8 seconds and you got a 44 minute cooldown. Now, its pretty good. Either play like sparks and start charging the second the enemy hits low hp, or tap revive the SECOND they die. And since its a bubble, you dont even have to aim it. One thing is that people dont often die all at once, unless they get JAVELINED. But still pretty useful.
Secondary Secondary Ability? — IDS
Honestly, i dont think this thing even works… I barely ever hear a tiny “ding ding ding”, and thats only when 4 arties designated like 8 artilleries. And the visual ques are so not obvious (to me, since im fast paceddddddd). I wish they could also increase the light height when its designated. (aka on airstrike, its like a wall of light that fades up, and a raising light string for artilleries).
In the end, i wouldnt say shes a priority to buy unlike javelin. Shes in the middle of javelin and hunter tbh. Shes fun, idk about AMAZING tho.
