My site has moved, hopefully soon it'll be up and running!

Yes after several weeks of my old fragland site being down because no-one was prepared to help me (a shame because I’m immensely grateful for the hosting and service they gave up to this point), I’ve got a new location.

I’ll maintain the old site for reference purposes, but soon my new location will have working forums and a new look (probably designed to fit in with my clan’s site, since my host = clan’s sponsor).

For now there’s virtually nothing, but wanted to mention I’m still around, maps are still in progress, and soon there’ll be a new place to come to for all your Middle Earth needs in ET :wink:

I’ve got forums working there now, although expect them to change in looks a lot.
I’m trying to take a more ‘hands on’ approach to sorting the whole site so I don’t run into the same problem I did with Fragland.
It also means to post people will have to register with a valid email address. Personally I’m not a big fan of this, but it will stop some of the problems that plagued me on the old forums, and to be honest I expect most people to go there to read rather than post, and for the die hards it’s not a problem anyway.

The forums will run new software (not phpbb as before, but snitz). Since people need to re-register anyway it’s not a big deal, but it will enable me to match my clan’s homesite which is pretty much the aim :slight_smile:
