There are exceptions to this, of course. But in all fairness this has been the meta outside 5v5 for a long time in DB; I have no clue how you got the impression it wasn’t and where you got it from, but I digress. That aside though I appreciate the sarcastic humor @Demolama xD

Stoker’s molotovs are very strong, but they’re designed to be specifically so they can be used for area denial. Having them do less damage over time was considered, however that would go against the core design of the ability.

How about delaying the explosion and the flame AoE (if direct mollies are an issue) ? It would allow players to flee but still make the molotov retain it’s utility as an area denial tool. As a compensation, the burning AoE of the molly could be raised a bit.

mollies arent exactly instant and you could survive it with only taking something like 20 damage.

At the pace of the game, any delayed effect of the molotov will render it useless as 100HP or less mercs can outrun it. I’ve seen Arty outrun Proxy’s mine explosion. I’ve even seen Phoenix outrun Nader’s Marty… and that one is also broken in terms of game speed (it needs about 33% less activation time).

Stoker has no Lock On augment. If you were referring to Proxy’s mine, yeah, but I was referring to Stoker’s molotov.

Well I guess it’s another good bye. It was fun while it lasted. Phantom is now back and more lame then ever. I will honestly say i think it’s worse then 1st release. Completely ruined the game again.

I stupidly bought the all merc pack and bought a load of cases. What a complete fool i am. The power i hindsight aye? I just didn’t think they would be so stupid to bring him back again considering he was one of the main reasons they lost so many people in the 1st place. Take care.
