My only problem with Nader is the direct hit kill

It doesn’t explode when you shoot it against a wall. Why should it when it hits my squishy body?

I don’t mind the grenade spam or martyrdom because honestly, people without a lot of FPS skill need an offensive niche or this game will loose money but in the hands of a talented player it becomes the best shotgun in the game. Switching into launcher mode should be more about support (clearing a hallway, protecting an objective, ect) rather than 1v1 offense.

This is a no brainier. Delayed explosions only.

It’s not a hitscan weapon like almost everything else, it’s a rather slow projectile that’s useless in 1v1 combat. Direct hits are almost certainly an accident/luck, or the enemy is standing still/running in a straight line.

It actually takes a certain amount of time for the nade to explode on contact with something. Soooo…

(watsyurdeal) #4

Because the majority of the weapons in this game are hitscan, and that anything with more than 90 hp requires two direct nades to land a kill.

So…yea, I don’t even know why this is a thread

So… promoting skillful aim is a bad thing? I don’t understand this thread.

Actually if you have experience with Nader and keen ears you can egg enemies right as they come around corners just by listening to the footsteps.

But mostly luck, yes.
