My models wont work at all

My models are not working at all i have extrated everymap i have followed the post

by making a well simple folderc:\models just for radiant but still no luck the outlines apper but then you can not grab after being deslected and my models dont appear on the map only the well faint lines in a well small cube always same size no matters the model,

please help

And im also having trouble with skie textures witch ones are known workers at the moment i get a black texture with orange lines accross it, also do i need to add a light in my outside area (unknown cus cant get a working skie texture)

The models have to bi in path:


c: \path to ET\models\...

And in Radiant you have to check the entity key’s / value’s.
There has to be only


models/ ...

Thanks so much my models now work fine,

But i still cannot find a working sky texture

I have made my sky work

but i cannot get airstikes to come in

also my map is light every where and i did not have to put any lights in even in the buildings will this affect other machines or is it because ive got a sky texture

what comile are you doing, just a BSP?

this wont compute and lighting and your entire map becoms a flat shade, needless to say its a bit unrealistic, Having a sky texture should add light to your map from the sky in a set direction, but this shouldnt light the inside parts of your map, try running a -8bounce compile, it will take long but ull see how nice the lihting can be

Sorted incase anybosy reads this to find there answer

The hole sky brush needs to be one sky texture not just a the side facing you

models need a texture called model clip found in the common texture theres 3 for different sounds and there basically a invisable wall

i dont think so. “paint” all planes that you dont see ingame with the caulk texture. this will keep the tricount low. if your skybox wont work … try “textures/skies/sd_goldrush” for ex.

I have problem with models to… I Decided do not make other topic. Ebery time when i want to add model then comes only one box… But when i use other ppl models then they work.
