My merc suggestion: Rook

EDIT: I’ve changed character an ability stats and added a SMG primary weapons.

I’m not sure if anyone has suggested this kind of character before so.

character name: rook

Health: 160

Sprint 370

abilities: riot shield:
ability health 250.
ability description: The riot shield is a shield used to protect you from on coming fire and to help push objectives.
ability cooldown 35 seconds.
The riot shield can be seen on Rooks back and can sponge damage from flankers, and when broken Rook can easily be shot in the back.
Primaries:
Hollunds 880
Remburg 7
Ahnuhld-12
Hochfir SMG

secondaries:
DE. 50 pistol
simeon .357
S&W .40

melee:
Broadsword (basically a reskin of Phantom’s Katana)
Cricket Bat
Beckhill Combat Knife
Stilnotto Stiletto

Merc pros: high health, and can be deadly upclose.

Merc cons Easily hit by grenades, and sucks at range.

Appearance: Rook effectively looks like a knight with riot armor was put into 2020 London with a pistol, shotgun, riot shield, and a sword

@astoundingShellfish You need to calm the f*ck down. You could actually give feedback about your fellow forum-member’s idea instead of telling him that his idea is a “less fun to play Rhino” and beating on his idea. You wouldn’t like it either if someone came along and paid major disrespect to them.

Respect, you learn about it in first grade.

@llNateNadesll It’s a good idea, a Riot shield ability would make OBJ pushing easier. My only heave about the merc is that he has too much health and too little speed. Perhaps make it the same as Skyhammer’s because the shield would tank alot of damage anyway. Perhaps he could also have access to both Shotguns and SMGs like Aura and Proxy.

and secodn i was hosnet. its basicly rhino withotu the minigun. it even ahs the same weapons.
and i do dislike somethign as unfitting for the settign as a medieval knight

But he’s not a medieval knight, he’s a dude with a riot shield, sword, and shotgun. Tell me kiddo, what kind of medieval knight has a shotgun?

I’m not going to respect a way of criticising something that is aggressive and makes people feel like sh*t, because that’s called destructive criticism, and that’s just being a dick. If you don’t like something, don’t just whine about it like a pre-teen girl, try to help fix it. You can throw around as many nasty comments as you want but at the end of the day it’s not appreciated by anybody. You can be harsh about something, but at least give tips on how to fix it - then you’re helping somebody.

P.S. find one place in the previous comment that I said you were dumb. @astoundingShellfish

i jsut gave MY opinon, if thats ilegal then howdy, civilians right for Amercans msut have changed a lot.

I gave a negative opinion because thats the problem, i was thought that you elarn mroe form msitakes than succes, i awlays look at both good and bad, but i mostly look at what must be fixed now what is already well done.

the pros on this character i ddint say.
1-a team oriented tank which i consider a good idea.
2-a lodout bassed around actually rpotecting yoru teammates
3-Broadsword master race
4-i liek rieot shields.

however theres stuff id ont feel right.
the 200hp status rhino ahs is what makes hims torng and “special”, i dont feel right to jsut strap the same stats to another character and change the ability.
i feel soemthign around 180hp and 270SP would be better fit for a character ment to charge into the enemy lines

270SP?! I’m bothering you because the way you have your opinion was mean. You could’ve just said: " lower his HP and raise his speed a big and steer away from the Knight theme", instead of telling him that he’s been playing too much R6: Siege and just giving him a big “NOPE”. You could’ve also given him the pros a little bit earlier, you wouldn’t of seemed like such a kid then.

I personally agree that the merc has too much HP, especially since the merc has a tanky shield.

This class seems really similar to rhino with the weapons and stats so I agree with gg2ez that he should have less health and more speed. Also, 60 seconds is a long time for a cooldown. Maybe make it 40 seconds like skyhammers airstrike marker. I’m also not sure how a knight would fit in dirty bomb. Does he wear knight’s armour?
Overall, nice concept but I think it needs a little tweaking.

@ScottyTweedie it would be better if he had riot armour that resembled a knight. Also, 40 second ais still pretty long just for a shield.
