At first my map loaded in ET and ran with good fps. Then I decided to do some cleaning up by:
deleting about 3000 unnecessary detail brushes
clipping my terrain so it wouldn’t overlap my buildings
placing some red and blue spawns and a script multiplayer
adding a rotating door and a func_explosive
creating a new script file to go along with all these things
I also noticed that my vis time has gone from about 2 seconds to about 10 minutes after the changes. The meta is taking about 3 times as long as before also. I ended up shaving almost 4MB off the file size but when i go to load it up ET freezes right when it says connecting to local host.
How can this happen?
Good thing I backed up before doing these changes.
