- Map creator. it’s a good point if you want a esport game (I think)
Is definitely a must. A lot of SD’s previous maps were good, for pub play, but slightly unbalanced for competitve. The community is also able to make new and (possibly) better maps.
- A ladder with a rank, like Starcraft 2 for exemple.
I’m not sure wether or not I like ladders. People tend to focus on stats only, instead of playing the objectives. On the other hand, having detailed personal stats should be included. I want to know how I performed in every aspect during a match and in my game carreer. (Even I like to see my stats and I’m opposed to a ladder system because of it.)
- Multiple actions with weapons like knife --> cute, and throw it or grenade throw and grenade roll ? (why not
)
I like the idea of rolling grenades. I like the idea of throwing your knife, IF it’s the only way to melee. You’d take a risk to perform it. Other than that, please make people able to try to melee with dynamite or airstrike canisters (But make it more than 1 hit to kill) I don’t like being caught with my pants down
Tbh, I hope to see this as a paid extra. This doesn’t affect gameplay much and people will still buy it.
If there’s water ingame, they probably already thought about this.
The game will ship with an objective mode. (Not sure about other modes though) I don’t like TDM at all and I hope they don’t include it. They might do it though, since it’s probably one of the most popular types of gameplay around. It’s a double edged sword however, they might pull in more people from other games, but they’d split up the playerbase.
I’m not sure what you mean, but if you’re talking about recoil on the guns, I hope they don’t change it too much. I’d rather that they increase character health pools than recoil. (From what I’ve seen from the video)
- The possibilty to stream (or record video) on Twitch directly in the game like planetside 2.
- A watcher mod for streamer.
Viewing streams via the gameclient is a great idea. Shoutcaster tools aren’t really neccessary because it’s a PC game anyway and there’s enough software out there. It would be beneficial for shoutcasters who’re just starting and I’m not against it. They can add it later on, but they should first focus on making the best game possible.
This is a great idea imo. Not everyone bothers to join the forums, which means that SD will lose out on a lot of feedback. Adding this ingame could be very helpfull.
That’s probably one of the most important things.
