My idea to make Phantom truly recon, and make Thunder a better assault merc

Jumping while blinded to avoid fire is a bit obnoxious, almost as obnoxious as a wounded aura you’re chasing setting down a health station around a corner. I don’t think it’ll hurt to disallow jump, won’t make it super annoying or op. If you’re stunned and you can’t even aim or move, how could you jump?

No slow sens is fine, you could just adjust your mouse sen in-game anyway. They really need to buff movement stun. As of now, you barely get effected. That’s because your stun time is occupied by the new recovering time. You can check my thread for more info.

And brink back cooking.

Jumping, blinded opponents are fun little tracking practise actually, I don’t mind that. What I seriously want implemented, is that movement reduction. Goddamn Auras and Proxies scattering like scared bunnies with GPS after flashbang, you think I can follow them up when I’m carrying around a thing on my back that apparently holds an apartment for 3 with sauna and terrace??

Oh right this was a Phantom thread too. Make him de-cloak manually and his current attributes can be buffed up. Fix’d. Maybeh. Needs testin’.

I’ts alot of trial and error this for all we know the changes we want to make could make it worse. But hey there are some good suggestions here why not try some out. Shoutout to sd please try these.

I have nothing to say on phantom, as i think all recon mercs are near worthless to your team unless played by someone who knows what they are doing (but thats a discussion for another day), but I feel like the only way to make the stun nades any good is to keep all the obnoxious bullsh*ttery like the movement penalties and slower aim and give them an increase in range, that way, they actually do something and affect more than the just the person standing on top of it when it goes off. I get that those features annoy people but isnt that kinda the point of them? To screw with peoples aim so you have the upper hand?
