My Final Decision

OK, i’ve been browsing through the Brink forums every now and then to see if I’m makin the right choice in buying this game and every-time i come hear there is always 10 guys posting threads about “OMG this game is FAIL” or “I returned this game”. Not dissin any of the guys who posted these threads bcuz they have valid points, If one guys says “Its a ghost town” the other guy has no idea what he is talking about and says that there r alot of ppl playin. Its like a F***ed up Sea-Saw.
Well, I’m putting my foot down, the scenario here reminds me of KillZone 3, i put some faith into that game and ended up trading it. I’m 90% sure that buying Brink is gonna bite me in the arse later on. So now i ask you guys If I should buy Red Faction Armageddon or FEAR 3.

NOTE: I have not completely lost faith in Brink, If some miracle happens that re-instills my faith in Brink, I’ll Buy it

I was disappointed with Brink. I too havent given up playing (ALMOST) but I dont think the main problems will be magically solved anytime soon. And by the time they are fixed the population will drop even more.

PS I really liked Fears SP gameplay (never tried the MP because I got the games later).
It really depends on the MP. I choose Fear3 -_-

You should buy Brink because if you don’t, you will be haunted to the end of your days wondering who you should’ve listened to and what the truth was, never knowing one way or the other, torn as if adrift on a sea of what should’ve been or could’ve been. and black will tattoo everything…

whoa. Ok, sorry about that. Uhmm, you could rent it or watch some Youtube videos if you are unsure about it, or wait for something else to spend your money on! :penguin:

Why not just go on http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ and see for yourself how many are playing? Saying its a ghost town is just BS, plenty people are playing, at least on PC. Bots only make the occasional appearance as they fill the gap between players leaving and new ones joining in.

Here is my take : Don’t buy any of these games. They are all overrated.

Instead, buy 50$ worth of ice-cream. You will never regret it enough : no lost time on a forum to whine, no stress from games unbalance etc… All good ol’ ice cream fun.

If he’s diabetic, you may have killed him. Couldn’t you have suggested $50 worth of wheat grass? That’s healthier! Unless he’s allergic to wheat.

I never thought that receiving Power of Attorney would be so hard! Or is it Power of Accountant?

Now my brain itches. :confused:

What about $50 spent on some nice flowers for his wife or girlfriend? That way there’s a lot of upside. Rather than potentially getting only another game that divides your attention. And you might be able to get some chocolate too depending on how much the flowers cost!

If you like TDM and standard modes of gameplay go with Red Faction. If you like objective team-based, go for Brink. I’ve never played any FEAR games so I have no say in that

RFA won’t be having competitive multiplayer afaik.

Brink would be my vote.

I just don’t feel that I’ve gotten my Money’s worth …yet!!)!!!

So if you can get Brink for ~$30 or so then get it and be miserable to some extent like the rest of us!!! ;-))))

I won’t trade my copy in since being fair this game has been a breath of fresh air from COD and others.

Wow… thnx for being so understanding, i was biting my nails all day long thinking that i might’ve come across as a troll more then a guy in need of advice, (Stormchild) 50$ of ice-cream sounds delightful but sadly i’m kinda on a diet not fat just trying to… umm… You know what i mean :stuck_out_tongue:

Red Faction got 2 votes, FEAR 3 got 4 votes and BRINK got 17 votes… Well, that seems about right. I mean what did i expect on the BRINK forums. I’m kinda surprised that wolfnemisis75 did not vote for BRINK, sorry wolf I heard u were a fanboy or somethin
