ok, my topic title is a bit over the top. just mentioning a few changes thatd make me enjoy the game a bit more right now.

  • made the fences on chapel shoot trough.

dreiss:
added red dot sight

grandeur:
-added red dot sight
-reloads 10% faster

stoker:
-reverted recent reduction to direct molotov impact as its the most skillful part about the ability.
-molotovs can now only be cooked for 3 sec.
-reduced area damage by 10%

rhino:
-made minigun much more accurate
-reduced minigun damage by “much”

consistently tracking heads makes rhino powerful now, not RNG or suprise attacks.

sparks:

-reverted recent damage falloff changes
-teamkills now instantly gib

-nerf in any other way if you like, except damage falloff, for example reduce the rev firerate.

-gameplay:
reverted recent chances to shooting while jumping, someone in our office had a bad day playing DB, we apologize.

much more that i cant think of right now or dont give a damn anymore.

Sorry, I don’t know where to begin and where to end.
But to sum up, here you go:

You’re objectively wrong on probably every point you’ve made besides the jump thing.
-Dreiss and Grendeur would be too strong with clean red-dots. They are accurate,
hard-hitting semi-auto guns, with their drawback being not perfect sights.
-The Stoker part, oh boy…There was nothing skillfull about panic-spamming Q as Stoker for almost an instakill for not very aware enemies. The damage change was okay. I like it not being a cheap instakill now, but a more rewarding AoE weapon, if timed and thrown right.
Cooking molotovs make no sense. They aren’t working with a cooking mechanic, but with different chemicals which react together afterwards. Basically to prevent the overcooking of the grenade in the first line.
And lowering AoE damage is not good aswell. 10% is stupid. 90-110 HP mercs will die in the same time, 120 need a second more, thich means basically everyone over Skyhammer-HP-level will be able to safely jump out the molotov. And the EV-destroy-rate will be pretty crappy aswell.
-Now the Rhino thing is just personal. Seems you have no idea how he works, nor have you played him enough. Accuracy will make him more deadly on ranges, where he doesn’t need to be, or has to be. Lowering damage is stupid. The minigun already does only 10 damage on body with a massive damage falloff. He belongs in the CQC range, where he has to be the ultimate killing machine, and outgun everyone. And headshot tracking is effective with every weapon in this game, and while Rhino kills anyone faster with it in CQC, his damage and spread almost nullify this ability at over 10-20 meters. There, even a Hochfir has a shorter TTK than the minigun.
Sparks change is subjective. Some people want her to outgun Vassili with a limitless-ammo lazer rifle, some don’t. Objectively-wise, she should not outgun a sniper.
But the teamkill-instagib is just insanely not smart and will kill her entirely in competitive games. Even if the mechanic of killing low-HP mercs and revive them afterwards is questionable, it is a valid mechanic in competitive, and makes her unique since her healing abilities aren’t that good.
The jump change is aswell quite subjective, some people want it back, some don’t. I don’t.

This is actually a somewhat interesting idea, though it completely changes the merc. Rhino is in a weird place, that might give him a bit of weight in ranked games, but very difficult to balance. It also reduces the uniqueness of Fragger’s K121 and Thunder’s MG46

Here’s hoping @Faraleth has a “bad day” and decides that going on about this stupid change is a bannable offense. The fact that you even think an apology is warranted fits with the arrogance that these rumbled snipers seem to carry, and it’s sooooo tired. There’s not even a horse left to beat at this point, it’s just an old busted up saddle and a bucket but y’all gotta keep banging away at it.

no need to be sorry, just amusing how you say my wishes are wrong and stupid.

i think were talking past each other on the stoker topic so ill ignore that.

rhino is my 3rd most played merc with a kd of about 3.
more accuracy equals more damage so the damage per hit would have to be reduced.
the idea is to raise the skill ceiling on him, making aim more of a requirement but in turn you get a bit more mid range viability, nudging him a bit out of his lawnmower niche hes in while keeping the ttk similar.

anyway, i didnt plan to go into big discussions about everything, time flies.
