Multiple players should speed up an objective

At the moment only one player can repair an objective and only one can help someone up, and mostly, only engineers and medics even succeed because it takes forever to do something as any other class. What if people that don’t play engineer or medic could stack on objectives and helping people up, making the speed of repairing/planting/defusing/reviving 30-50% faster (engineer is 100% faster). That would IMO make teams that lack engineers and medics have a bigger chance to win and it actually promotes teamwork (because now people will actually bother with the objective…hopefully). I’m just tired of being forced into playing an engineer or medic because nobody else does and nobody bothers with the objective and we don’t have revives, because it is so slow currently.

Thoughts?

The problem with your idea, is that well that is the point. Engineers should be the one repairing, defusing, planting, etc. The other classes are suppose to protect him. In a objective game like this Engineers are basically the kings and every other class are servants.

In addition, that would be some pretty airstrike bait if all could repair at the same time.

They do. Have 4 people near an EV and then come back to this thread.

As a Kira player, I definitely agree. Just go ahead and stack up while I read orbital laser. Mmyep.

Seriously, though. Encouraging stacking up is a pretty bad idea in and of itself. It’d probably lessen your chances of winning, to be honest: Everyone would want the points, and whoever should be planting would have no one to cover them.

Please read the post before replying

He is discussing repairing objectives, not moving the EV.
