I did a search but could not find the following;
If you, like me, have a dedicated server running on your home PC (for whatever purpose) but can not start the Brink Game Client from Steam because another instance is already running (the server).
Add this to your game Launch Options:
+set win_allowMultipleInstances 1
Then start the game from Steam.

Sorry for reviving this thread, but I would just like to know on how to get this multiple instances going correctly.
I have added the +set allowMultipleInstances 1 to my command line on my client, do I need to set it somewhere in my server.cfg file as well ?
It only works if I start my game first and then launch the server. What can I do to make so that I can launch the server and then join my server afterward?
