Multiple characters?

Has the ability to have multiple characters been confirmed yet?

You can have up to 16 unique characters decked out w/ their own gear, their own abilities, etc.

Moreover, my understanding is that once you hit the “level cap” for one player, you still earn XP while playing them that can be dumped into your other characters as you please.

I’m personally happy XP transfer got dropped (if it did). Rather have to choose between playing my main or leveling an alt rather than having my cake and eating it too. Maybe thats just from playing too many RPGs in the past xD

Would be nice if you can carry on earning XP at lvl20 that instead of counting towards leveling up count towards respec points
Allowing you to respec by spending a respec point, which would avoid dropping a level

I have another question in regards to characters? Let’s say I pick up the game for PS3 because I’m unable to afford my new PC at the moment and I start playing. Pwning everyone I encounter not that I’m a pyshic I just know that’s going to happen anyway (for the doubters PSN is Nishua). Will I be able to log on to the PC when I get it and continue my progression? Please tell me that PS3 stats and PC states are the same or all accounts are linked?

I have never heard of such one feature, except for portal 2 recently, but thats about it. gotta admit that I’m not very informed bout consoles.
