First I put q3map2 (new version) in radiant and tried to compile. got error msvcr71.dll not found I did some searches and read to put it in seperate directory so I did and tried to run it from a command line and got error xxx.dll not found so I put all the .dll files from radiant in new folder with new q3map2 and tried to run it with command line and got error msvcr71.dll not found.I searched and found info on msvcr70.dll but none on msvcr71.dll.what gives? am I the only one dumb enough to have this problem? :weird:
msvcr71.dll not found??new version of q3map2.
I needed both the msvcr70.dll and msvcr71.dll to get q3map2 to run, in fact if I move either out of the q3map2 directory, then it complains.
you can get a version here, I think that`s where I got it from iirc.
edit: use the .dll version included in the latest (2.5.14 onwards) q3map2 zips
If you have msvcr70.dll, simply copy it then rename it to msvcr71.dll.
It worked for me.
Strange but true.
Bad. Idea.
Both DLLs come with Q3Map2. The next build will no longer have the MSVCR70.DLL requirement. That’s a bug.

hmmm, maybe it was when you first started using the 71.dll that I had to get it from else where, but I`ve just checked and both of them are included in the 2.5.14 zip although in the 2.5.13 zip you only gave us the 2nd one, not that it matters now, but thanx for clearing this up
