I just have two thoughts.
So the gameplay that 99% of us actually like (more or less) is being adjusted to the maps that 99% of us don´t like (maybe slightly overexerting here :>)
And even tho it´s a far inferior change to delivering maps (probably because it´s not possible for some reasons?) and a game performance that actually support the appreciated game style, I guess it´s better then before…
Casualising even more. I just give you three examples: Path of Exile, Dark Souls, Dota2. All of those three games, have competitors that are mostly just casualized versions of them (or they are the hardcore version of more casual games) and I am not comparing there success right now, but want to point out, that everyone who understands a little bit of those specific genres or games overall, really aspires and wishes for any upcoming game of the specific genre to has as much depth to it as those 3. I don´t know, but I feel like, the more simple the game mechanics are, the smoother they actually need to be in order to have the same long therm motivation as the more complicated counterpart. And no offense, but I don´t think that SD is known for smooth games, so for me this is like a shot to the knee right now…

Normal mercs feel so slow.
