mouse3 not single side texturing anymore(fixed)

I have used my mouse 3 + shift to place textures onto 1 side of objects rather than selecting the side with shift+ctrl+click and then the texture and then selecting the side and then the texture and repeating that motion until my brain hershey squirts a WTF ???

I closed radiant and then came back to it 3 hours later, all of a sudden 2 settings change--------- I can no longer set single side brush texture info with shift and mouse3
AND when I do select a whole brush it no longer highlights in RED; it just obtains a white outline ???
wth ?

Whoever can save me on the siingle side brush texturing shortcut…I will honor a page on my new coming website for you BECAUSE I have tried it all and nothing works.
(yes the mouse3 works apart from radiant)

just the white outline? did your brushes clone?

You probably bumped the j key. Shift-click a brush and keep hiting j till it’s back the way you like. That should solve your whole brush outline problem, not sure about the texturing one though.

OK…fixed both problems. The mouse3 problem comes from a microsoft wireless mouse driver, it decided to make it stop working (RANDOM) for some reason…so I uninstalled it.(Another bad and malfunctioning product from Microsoft[a-s-s*&^%^s])

and thanks zl1corvette! the j key was the problem, but I never went near it (must be ghosts) . I overlooked that option on the shortcut list when searching for the cure.
