It is not possible to bind mouse wheel tilt left and right to actions.

Have you tried assigning left and right tilt a keystroke in the mouse software?
Ive just tested that out with the logitech drivers and that seems to work.

I have “a” and “d” assigned to my tilt on my scroll wheel. If you have a mouse with programable buttons you should be able to assign a keystroke to yours.
I use a Logitech mouse and their setpoint software.
