mouse bug

(YkbeN) #1

My mouse isn’t moving ingame, it works under windows and any other games but it doesn’t move in brink.

i have tried to delete the brinkcfg but it doesn’t change anything.

Any idea ?

Have you tried plugging the mouse in to a different USB port? I know it seems like a stupid suggestion, but the Windows registry is a sometimes screwy mess.

I have the same problem. Today after work, i went to scrim brink, and mouse froze on character selection screen.

Mouse works when i drop console, on steam overlay and when i alt+tab to Windows.

Changed USB port but still nothing…

Any help?

I can’t check the file location while I’m at work, but I believe Brink generates a log file every start-up. Posting that may help provide some insight.

Logfiles aren’t generated automatically and one probably wouldn’t help with this issue. We’re already looking into this internally.

Is it possible you have GameCam loaded? I had this problem when I had GameCam on, and have since uninstalled it.

Go into your config and change the value of mouserawinput from 0 to 1 (or vise visa and see if it works.)

How are you suppose to change your game’s resolution without your mouse?

I looked through console commands and found no way to do this.

Can someone please find a fix here, this is lame.

Could it be a graphics card issue?

Guys there is already a thread on this, search before you post…

Navigate to the options menu with the arrow keys and enter. Change your resolution and click Apply. The mouse should now work in-game.

Im sure they’re working on a fix to this so just stay patient, atleast you can get it working by changing the resolution for now.
