hi
i just wanna know whe my mountedgun is appearing inside my model.
i have a model off a halftrack clipt it .
then i made it scriptmover with origin brush inside .
both models show up fine bud my clips are missing i can run true my model .
bud in radiant i clipt it .
look here the gun is inside the halftrack.
.
plus i made this grass terrein and wantto make a dirt road so i went and made it with paint shop pro 7 bud my original texture isnt the same like you could see in the screen is this because of the mask .
i cloned the road texture on to it .
if any one has a idea of how to fix this .

all right…i don’t think I fully understand what you’re asking but I’ll try to answer you as best i can anyway.
The mounted gun attaches to the player tag on the model of of the script mover. If you don’t have a player tag on your model I think it will attach to the center of your model but i’m not sure about this.
By the way the player tag is nothing special…just a regular tag named tag_player.
For the tracks just use a decal shader. Your tracks texture should be just the two brown track strips and the rest should be transparent. Then place this on top of your terrain with a decal shader
