[b]i had contacted Nib to see if we could get his Mountain Assault map from RTCW converted
over to ET and he said to go for it! so my clan contacted LowLife and he agreed to do it, so now
he will soon have this great map ready for everyone to play on!

LowLife did a fantastic job on the conversion and the map looks really great, im sure a lot of
hardcore players will remember this map! its small but very challenging!

THIS MAP WILL BE RELEASED IN BETA VERY SOON!

Decription : A small radar relay station located in the alps is used by the Axis to transmit intelligence info about
Allied troop movements. It is imperative that the Allies destroy this installation before operation
Overlord can start! This is a small map designed for 4-12 players on each side.

Installation : Place the beta_low_mount_ass.pk3 to your etmain folder

Objectives

The Allies need to blow open the garage door that leads to the inner spawn flag, dynamite the lower radio controls, dynamite the radio tower, dynamite the upper radio controls

The Axis need to prevent the Allies from destroying any of the mountain installations electronics.

That looks real good, but I couldn’t get past the name of the pk3 without sayin’ something! I mean seriously, is it intended to be a joke?! :nag:

My hope is that there won’t bee too much “special effects” spoiling the mood, by which I mean for example rotating logos, and especially custom-made mousepointers that lags down the game (ok the end-game stats to be precise) something horrible, otherwise the old rtcw-map was rather fun, though I still don’t think it was that much fun that it wouldn’t just fall into the “one among all the rest” maps on ET. Somehow this map feels like a map ET could have done without.

i checked out another test version today of the map and most everything is fixed
only thing left that i could see is the barbwire damage sound
so the beta should be ready to go in a few days hopefully!
