My secondary is this bullpup rifle, donā€™t know the actual name now. And Iā€™ve killed at least 4 guys at the hacking objective at ā€œRefuleā€(I layed in the corner in front of the stairs wich are leading to the objective), since you can also reload that thing, while downed.

Downed fire is more effective than 2 mines and a gatling turret together. It could actually be a tactical trick to let yourself get killed by a friendly near the objective, in order to secure that sh** .

About 5 or 6 with the sea eagle, most people donā€™t even notice you have downed fire.

I love the entire ā€˜downā€™ mechanic. It adds a lot of drama to the game. Not a fan of downed fire myself but I like that people are able to do things while incapacitated. Sometimes itā€™s also just better to lay around for a while after a knockdown.

Operatives should have a skill where they can paint targets while being down. Engineers should be able to lay an ordinary mine (which takes longer) as a skill and maybe soldiers could slowly drag them selves around slowly.

would be great as a themed pack, just like this themed pack deals with objects that stay in play.

Downed fire is great as a heavy. However, my record is 5 or 6, I think, with the CARB. I ran out of ammo.

I have yet to select downed fire. It is an ability for when you will be down, but is not class specific, so I am not sure Iā€™d use the points on that over a class ability. Why attract undo attention? Iā€™d rather lay low most times, no pun intended. lol.

I think i had 5 kills with it once, sometimes is better to just lay downed in choke points with it rather to respaw or to get revived, but now that brink players are move experienced they tend to finish you up.

Iā€™ve only gotten up to one kill with downed fire. Only recently picked it up. I got tired of being completely helpless while on the ground.
