I totally agree. It’s just much easier for him to get the one shot off, especially if you alert him with gunfire. Unless he’s really bad or you’re really lucky you really shouldn’t be able to kill him without flanking.
Most Annoying Mercenary/ Mercenaries And Why?
running into artillery style spam thats either purely speculative or aimed at someone else annoys me.
But hands down winner is of course that vaseline , its not that his weapons are broken and hit regardless of where you shoot or the lack of any real way to get to him as he hides behind his team shooting through a narrow gap so you dont tend to even see him , its just that his so boring, theres no interaction its like “oh well you got all the skills necessary to click a desktop icon, grats i guess?”
Airstrike + Orbital Strike + Frags + Sticky Grenades + Mines + Artillery Strike = no chance.
Auras who run around until they come across a player and drop their healing stations for each fight. It’s incredibly annoying to play against and they offer no support to their team.
Omfg my sides
They do if they move it back to where it was after the fight or there are people following them.

Yes, that is annoying…af
that has to be Phantom …was really annoying to get stabbed by ghost back in early closed beta
from current mercs , might be Vassili… its always hard to kill good ones
I personally find Vasili, Bushwacker, Proxy, Aura the most annoying.
Why?
Vasili - The guy who camps in one corner and 1 shots me in the face. Yeah, we all met that one guy. (I know not all Vasilis are campers)
Bushwacker - His turrets take so many hits and have such a huge range. If placed in a good position it is so hard to take it down.
Aura - The healing station is too OP. If there are enemies around it you literally cannot kill them unless you kill the station first, in which case you’ll most likely die. Or if you manage to kill them, she can easily revive them.
Proxy - (I main Proxy) I hate it when I can’t see the mines

Completely agree, cept I’m mainly a Vassili player.
Proxy’s mines and Bushwacker’s turrets placed in good spots. Nader’s martyrdom (try to play against this when they rush you in a corner, you die or you die).
Rhino is a general PITA, face to face with any other class you will be underdog in close to mid ranges against them. You can place two headshots on them with your shotgun, but the third time you peek you are shredded pork no matter what. Rifles and smgs dont even need to bother challenging close up.
Good Vasili’s, the ones that consistently pull headshots on you from the move dont really make me salty. But when they start taunting in chat after pulling the 10th headshot on you while you exit the spawn, thats when i press quit to main menu. Then there are the bad Vasili’s/semi-auto snipers, that only get kills with bodyshots on weakened targets. Its like come on man, be a sniper or take an assault rifle.
I get pissed when I have more than one Vasilli on the team. One is fine, but two’s overkill imo. I saw a couple of Dirty Cup games, and the teams’ Vasillies were not only effective, but they also moved up when needed. In a majority of my games I get Vasillies (is this plural?) who just camp in the back and contribute very little to the team.
I main Vassili, but I only move up IF my team pushes. But most of the time my team is composed of noobs so I end up charging into the battlefield with a knife.
