It says in the anouncement page for the new obsidian’s “Today we’re taking a first step towards fully realizing this with the launch of a new Loadout Card line” it is the fact that they say Line of cards that makes me think that they will be releasing more of these special obsidians. Could @stayfreshshoe please confirm or deny this?

lol of course they will.
Hopefully next time we’re given a little notice so those that have an issue with paying $30 can save up. (not hating I’ve been young / poor / unemployed before)
Perhaps next time they’ll think about the specific loadouts a little bit more.
I think that they’d sell many more if the loadouts were Fletcher BL32, Stoker S81 and Arty S41.
Either way it’s good to see them selling better cosmetics.
Now if only we could apply said cosmetic to an already owned card…

Quite sure they are going to add more. I just hope they learned something from this and choose more populate cards next time. Theres literally just one decent card and thats fletchers.
If you ask me they have two choices: use meta loadouts (in fletchers case A31/BL32) or something that optimizes a certain playstyle to offer some variety (fletcher is a good example here as it buffs the blish enough to have you stop relying on stickies only).
