More maps with nature

(smartIsland) #1

Would love to see a map with more nature, maybe Hyde park or something, maybe in the cold English rain for atmosphere.

Gathering heli fule, refueling and getaway or something.

Perhaps the dirty bomb mercs can take a trip to a desert and have a fight it there? Or maybe they could good the channel teak quick and fight in France in the beach?

(einstyle) #4

I was thinking about a suburbs map as well, maybe a bit more open than other maps and with more nature than previous ones

(smartIsland) #5

Ooo yeah some of those pretty townhouse kinda suburb neighborhoods

(lapislazuliPark) #6

Kew gardens anyone? Would love to see some firefights in the glasshouses they have there.

(smartIsland) #7

that would be so sweet

These are great ideas, I love the London theme… but the maps are criticized, fairly, for being too similar. Hyde park and Kew Gardens would be brilliant.

(Gwarh) #9

A “Hyde Park” map with a half destroyed Prince Albert memorial would be cool.

(Adam) #10

There are no deserts in London…
Also, France isn’t in London…

(Shinywindow) #11

Cute neighborhoods with overgrown community gardens due to abandonment would be so nice! It’s a shame those grassy areas in Trainyard are under utilized.

(bontsa) #12

Park maps would deffo be something sweet to see! However for full foresty / nature maps I can hardly imagine seeing, trees’n’bushes aren’t very good walljumping spots and as that is huge part of the movement in game, well. Anything with mix of urban enviroment and nature props however is a must-have!

Add some 90’s level “radiation-does-this-and-that” pseudoscience and have a London outskirt map practically eaten by unnaturally fast and jungle-like grown vegetation due to spilled nuclear waste?

(Adam) #13

This.

(Koyotea) #14

I definitely want a map with more foliage to use as cover or to hide mines in, I miss that about ET, sniping from the bushes

(bontsa) #15

Welcome to the reign of turrets. Enjoy your stay and cannon-sized .900 caliber ballistic torso traumas from absolute nowhere.

I’ve really started thinking foliage in completely different light now after attempting to hit turret practically inside a bush at Trainyard with stickybombs. The frustrative horror is real. So as long as they’d be only visual block, being both walk-throughable and shoot-throughable

Map with suburbs, gardens, playgrounds. etc would be sweet indeed.

(deerCat) #17

We need more grass and trees. Hyde Park would be amazing, like you could go into a small forestry area.

Slightly off-topic but watch the tv serives “Survivors” which is a post-apocalypse in England.

Such a good series

Maybe it’s about time we went to where the bomb actually went off, thus where the radioactive pollution is the strongest. My guess is Heathrow, but Buckingham Palace is a good target for such an attack too. Should make for an interesting “Capture the Money” map.
