I personally would like to have 4 maps to vote from in the lobby. Especially since we have DOme in pool, and i want to play it much much more. Not only because it is a new map, but also it is very good map.
Even with 5-maps pool i caught myself that i tend to wait for some specific maps, which are my favorite (Trainyard, Chapel) and get very sad, and even leave the server if i get 3 maps that i want to play less.
I also like to play on Underground a lot, but the current system is fine imho.

This is the problem with public servers, it’s easier to leave and find a new server than it is to sit through the lobby + load + warm up. And then there is only 6 people on the server and 1/2 the map is over by the time it fills back up. Rinse and repeat.
my main point is that the more is the vote-pool, the more chances, that players play their fav maps.
This is good for players. And this is good for servers to stay filled. (ppl leave if they do not want to play certain map.)
