  • Moving feels like steering a ship.
    Probably due to time it takes to accelerate and decelerate.

  • The visual representation of hits does not match what happens. Today I shot a player on the US server twice with the shotgun, I then died. It looked like I hit twice more or less, he spilled lots of blood. Yet he had still 97% health.

  • Not being able to shoot while run…
    Better let give no penalties when running, so you can shoot and run - and make the overall game 30% slower.

  • Camden make first objective a c4 objective.
    Overall seems like to much time.
    Either let us blow the train at start, or block the way off somehow…

  • WhiteChapel
    EV is to slow, base speed should be higher. Spawns are akward for defense.

  • London Bridge
    More pathes, to many bottlenecks. Lift is crap.

  • Postprocessing and colorgrading. Let us disable that crap - Globally. Some guys might be fond of blur and filtered colors - I am not.

  • Spawnwaves, seriously needed for pub

  • Bigger servers for pub, I really wished we could at least try it. maybe 24 max?
    Can it hurt to try that while being in beta?

  • Ladders have nothing lost in a fast paced fluid mp game I think.

  • Those new camp the objective objectives, are very interesting, but not well enough communicated. Maybe if there would be a number like on the EV?

  • Please under no circumstances add the same system as BRINK had with SMART. just not.

  • Give us back the serverbrowser

  • Make plants and stuff burn up, or get destroyed. Overall more destructible environment.

  • The girl with nadelauncher, I would like to be able to drop that martyrdome nade whenever I want? -.- not just when lying around…
    Her launcher + tracking players is very hard to predict, and to hit anything. But obviously I am big noob at that (seriously).

Overall I most dislike the small servers, though I enjoy the matches also with 4vs4…
Let the trollfest begin.

The small servers / not being able to host your own server kills the game for my clan. I would have cared if I actually liked the game.

Even if they enable a 24 slot server, it will become a spamfest, because the maps can handle 5v5 max.

24 slots servers were a spam fest in ET too

After playing some rounds again, I’m pretty much annoyed of no sprint while reload. Not sure but I think sprint is also cancelled when you use the quick key, can someone confirm/deny it?

I agree, when a map ends it’s not uncommon for a few people to disconnect. In DB a few people will already be quite a difference and might cause a waterfall effect where everybody leaves and then your server is empty.

But maybe SD are already aware of this and only plan to have Dota style match making, not server browsers etc.

I still miss the ability to cancel the reload anim. I can only hope it’s simply not implemented yet, but it’s already on their to-do-list. Otherwise I can only say, that I find it a significant and completely not understandable step backwards.

I mostly agree to this and want to add / specify some things. For better understand: I only play medic class in DB as I did the last few years in ET. It’s just my job… I have to :smiley:

MEDIC CLASS: I think it’s pretty hard to kill other classes in a fair 1 on 1 fight, but probably it’s intended to be like this so I won’t complain about it. As medic you can really well support your allies atm and in ET the medic was kinda overpowered, so maybe the balancing is just fine how it is. Just wanted to say that I’m missing the rush of running through 3 enemies like they were nothing. Other players also mentioned it in this forum. Maybe it has something to do with the skill gap…

MOVEMENT: I really wish that it would be possible to shoot and sprint at the same time and also the possibility to sprint while strafing. The overall speed should only be reduced at bit (if at all). To compensate the advantage of shooting while sprinting you could increase the spread of the bullets. ET does this pretty well imho. I think this would add more movement skill to the fights. I don’t see any problem with the crouching, mentioned in another thread. It’s a bit unsmooth, yes, but not overpowered or something like that. Maybe you could add a delay of a second or so untill the increase of accuracy applys…
And as ailmanki said: PLEAAASE do not add something like SMART. ET has such a great and smooth movement system made by the engine, without scripted things like in COD or so (stand in front of a hip-high wall, then wait that the symbol is popping up, then hit spacebar and the character will jump over it. This is just annoying and everything else than smooth.) I dont like scripted stuff…:rolleyes:

PERCEPTION OF HITTING PLAYERS: As mentioned in another thread, the sound of the weapons when shooting doesn’t represent the actual rate of fire. Whyyyyy??? This means that the weapon does not do what you think it does, it’s tricking you. Please work on this and make it one sound per shot. It will make the guns feel much more accurate and honestly.
Also I would like to see an additional hitsound when making headshots. ATM I’m just shooting anywhere because I doesn’t feel rewarding enough to make HS somehow…

SPAWNWAVES: Yes, please! And a spawntimer for your own team. Giving selfkill a sense…

And for those who wanna say “uoahgrml DB isn’t ET blabla go play ET then bla!!”: I know, I know. But if this game is meant to be made for those who are playing SD games, then ET-players should like it. Or not?! :wink:

hmmm… here a little more feedback from me.

1.Hud - still missing the minimap
objective indicators are too big

2.Weapons - too many shotguns …pls reduce to only one
shotguns too strong in short range
gren launcher Handling can be do better.
sawbones main weapon sound is too “puppy”

3.Game - vsays must be fixed
respawn bug (cant sprint)
miss again the spawntimer

4.Performance - yes the old theme…when we get 30 more stable fps …this was very happy for 60% of all players
