It could just be me but i feel like it’ll take you a long while to get your buy your own merc(without irl money). -Any money tips can be useful too

Do missions.

Best merc for combat XP missions is Nader. Lots of splash damage bonuses, Martyrdom gives free kills.

Best merc for support is probably Sparks. You can snipe revive people from a safe distance over and over again. Ammo-dispensing mercs are also quite good. You can plunk down an ammo station in spawn and everyone will automatically get ammo as they walk past it.

For game mode XP, run an Engineer. Duh. Also remember to push the EV. You can also get quite a few game mode points by shooting secondary objectives and the EV (Skyhammer is quite good for the latter, explosive classes for the former).

Use Quick Join for “play X amount of games” missions, they’ll often stick you in a game halfway-done. Also remember that the attacking team is hugely favored if there are no players, or if you’re playing stopwatch.

Remember that you can delete missions you don’t like. it can be a good idea if you get one you hate (Waterboy), and the timer is fairly close to giving you a new one.

Remember you should play one match of each game type per day to get the 500 XP bonuses.

And never ever buy cases.

Pretty solid suggestions there. It’s probably a typo, but it should be pointed out that the daily bonuses are not XP but Credit bonuses. You get 500 for your first win, and 500 for your first match. Match Played is also tracked separately for each game type.

Support XP will probably depend, actually. Sparks gets mad XP from revives, but Aura can be great if you plop a healing station by a busy choke point ( and people actually use it ). Ammo can be a pretty good source, too - it gives 100+a bunch if you score a direct hit on someone who’s low on ammo.

For Game Mode XP, your best bet is probably not C4 plants. It gives you like 1200 XP if you plant + detonate, but that’s unreliable at best. Repairs are a solid source, and both primary and secondary objectives count. Repairing and Destroying the EV is good, too, as mentioned above. I also think Long Defense counts for game mode XP - not entirely sure on that.

If you do your missions and get the bonuses, you should be able to rack up something like 5K credits just by doing your missions once per day. 10K+ in a day isn’t too hard, if you’ve got time to spare.
