Models for team_CTF_red/blueflag?

I am having some problems with certain models used for CTF_red/blueflags, i can use models for the goldcrates, documents and radar parts, and can see the model in game, but if i use the fuel can model it doesnt appear in game, i can pick it up and take it the the place to capture it, but its invisable?

Can you only use certain types of models? if so what do i need to change about the fuel can model to appear in ET?

Iam using a fuel can to take to the plane as it needs fuel, documents also need to be taken to same place, both needed to win :smiley:

Just replace the goldcrate by the fuelcan / documents.

i think he wants to know how to use other models. First, I think that your model has to be a misc_GAMEmodel, vs a misc_model. 2) you’ll need to make the red trans model to show the cap point.

Well for the red thing ive opted not to use one of them for my capture point, ill just make it clear that you have to take to the plane also this may sound daft but how can i tell if the model of the fuel can is a misc_gamemodel or a mics_model, the directory of the model iam trying to use is models\mapobjects\prop_sd\fuel_can.md3 if that helps you to help me solve this problem, ive also tried adding the skin key and value but nothing, the documents model works fine for me though, just this fuel can is causing me hassel.

there is a map out there where you have to take a gas can somewhere, Airfield Assault maybe? There may be a model for you to use in there

I’ve just had a look at v1rocket_b2 by FireFly.
He hasn’t used the model that ships with ET.
So may be you can ask him if you can use his model.
