[MODEL] Tapir and Banana model

Greetings SD forummers.
For some time I always wanted to give modeling a go, but always gave up after opening Blender.

With the great help of my good friend Pegazus, I’m now able to create some things.

I created 2 models so far which I thought I could share for those who could be interested … who knows eh.

Anyhow, here’s the deal:
This first ‘pack’ contains 2 models: a banana model and a Tapir model (=> :stroggtapir: ) .

The tapir model replaces the Jagdpanther tank that comes default with the ET game. It’s fully animated and you can escort it. The snout functions as the barrel gun (which is used to e.g. blow up the bankdoors in Goldrush)…

… ok, maybe not, but it’s still a model and I have honestly no idea why you would use it, but I’m sure, some crazy minded fella could find a reason… why not.

It’s not going to win any beauty contests, but it’s a first step into modeling and had some free time to kill in a semi-useful way.

Nice.

This fits nicely into the latest “Scene From a Theme” contest - maybe a contest entry from the Tapir homeworld. :slight_smile:

Wierd, but cool. Is it just me, or is the tapir and bannana model look like a cartoonish drawing? :stroggtapir: :stroggbanana:

Though I’m not sure if anyone has enough (photo) reference from SD HQ to create that strange, but happy homeworld

well the texture from the tapir was based on a real tapir, so :smiley:
But pssss, still need to learn to enhance model texs, it was more like a fun model thing to do :slight_smile:

Yes we fit every tapir with an obligatory blindfold followed by a good frisk for hidden cameras before letting them in.
