model problem please help!

when i right click and choose a misc model just a box with a star like shape in it appears why is this and how do u fix it? thank you

and it also says at the bottom WARNING: could not extract the relative path, using full path instead

I don’t understound you, but if you want to see model in GTK Radiant1.4.0. you must press N

  • entity window and wipe off in value path Program files/Wet./etmain,

there must remain this text - models/mapobjects/tanks/…modelname.md3 - press enter

Yes in the folder etmain unzip common.pk3 and Pak0.pk3 to etmain folder - textures and models

Not sure but I think you have to extract the pak0.pk3.
After inserting a model you have to edit the path.
With selected model press “N” to open up the entity window.
Change the path to the model.
It has to be the relative path starting with “model/ …” and not "c : \ … ".
