hard to know what your issue is, but try to import it into Milkshape, save as .md3 format, then begin editing the script that it generates to reference the new textures you made.
yep MS3D does it best when it comes to MD3 files…
but you can also open it in NPHERNO’s md3 compilerand check the paths the model have to texture there…
my guess it have only
yourmodel,jpg
and not
models/mapobjects/yourmodelfolder/yourmodel,jpg as it should have… you can also update this in the compiler… just be sure to load all “groups” of model and that no groups is bigger than 1024 vertiges
but that shouldn’t be an issue since your model loads without texture…
Well still can’t get the model to find its texture.
I don’t need it right now so I am on to othere things.
Thank you
all

That link does not work foe me. I will see if I can find it on gool.[/QUOTE]
Try this one then:
One more think, I unziped the nq folder that have the skins in them. I made some changes in one skin. Now I can get it to save as a pk3 file.
when I try to rezip it i save as a zip or 7 file not a pk3 file. I am using 7 to unzip and re zip files and folders.
What is the best way to zip a folder with 7 to make it come out as a pk3 file?
thank you
Well, as you know a PK3 is basically a renamed ZIP, and the software with the most advanced ZIP compression algorithm is 7zip (which also have a powerful format, 7z); You can use it, but I don’t think it will save a lot of KB
Edit:
http://www.7-zip.org/
Yes I have 7 but I can not get it to zip as a pk3 file. when I rezip it, it is a 7 file. If I try to rename it to a pk3 file, it still is .7 files.
Like nq file.pk3, after I zip it, it is nq file.7. So I rename it nq file .pk3. then it become nq file.pk3.7. I hope you can understand what I am talking about.
Don’t worry to much about I will get sooner or later.

You have to to compress as .zip and not .7z, they’re totally different file formats!
get yourself pakscape… you can save directly as pk3 there…
EDIT: OFFTOPIC: doesnt our downloads at thewolfteam.org work when you are logged in?
The question was what is the best ZIP archiver in terms of performances, well 7-Zip is pretty at the top for this ^^’
Well, I guess not everyone want to register just to download a file
I think downloads should be available for all, even for non-member visitors, but that’s my opinion.
