Heya!
First of all im running an etpub server at 2.56, and before you say anything… I know its a half dead patch but I have all my friends there and also my server is more active there than on 2.6b, so please dont give me and answer “Update to 2.6b”, I was there and my server was always empty so no thanks.
So, to the question itself. I actually know the answer already to this one, but Im just conforming it: Doesnt lua work at all in 2.56? I remember it said somewhere that lua was introduced in 2.6b etpro only…? And if lua doesnt work there, how could I make some sort of minimod for my server, similar to Kmod? Use game monkey or what? Basically I was just looking for extending the admin features, like making admin commands that wouldnt otherwise be possible. Its more for my own entertaiment I guess, just to see what I can come up with. Id like to start with creating !crazygravity command, which is only available in jaymod I think (and etadmin_mod but I dont wan to use it for now). And also, in Kmod you had this “!goto” command which allowed you to teleport to a person, Id like to have that for etpub 
but I cant bother waiting for etpub crew to “possibly” make it for future versions so Id like to try it myself somehow. Kmod itself didnt work on 2.56 when I was still running etpro, probably for the reason that lua doesnt work there then?
