hey been wondering if anyone would like to make a ET mod like this cos i think it would be pretty useful, infact ime surprised no1 has made it yet
the server list, could someone code it more advanced filters, when i say advanced ime pretty sure there is no difficult code involved, beffore a server is added to the list do logic checks on figuers like ping etc so players can get a noarrow list of servers thay want to play on instead of a massive one
also i understand its fairly easy to get a packet from the server containing data about player so how about listing all player on the server when requested by players
the clearver bit (sort of) give the player filler fuctions for the major mods so they can fillter servers only running ETpro or ETpub etc
run the mod in a seperate folder and create a new shortcut opening the mod directly. it will switch to the apropriate mod on conection to the server so its not a problem and it will also overwrite the anoying nagware that gets into you game
just a though this 1 but if u can get the player names then you could search the servers one by one and match player names or partial matches, then display them in differnt list of
player name | players on server | ping | server name
