Mod book available, great for beginners

Hey, I was looking at your big muff and was just wondering what kind of effect does it give to the sound? Does it make it bassier, swirly or rough and hairy?

I’m not a bssist, but am interested in finding out what effects I could get for my guitar.

the big muff is a distortion/sustainer pedal. Its more of a sawtooth fuzz distortion for bass, but, heres a review of it:

This pedal does an amazingly good sound at what it is meant for. Reproducing that bad-ass, 70’s style distortion that we have all heard at least once in our lives. This pedal is great for R&B, Funk, Rock, Classic Rock, alternative, prety much everything. It is an “all-round” pedal.The tone can be modified extremely in order to suit your specific needs. Effects wise it’s not much. Just that classic distortion that so many artists have used in the past thirty years. The active injection box isnt an effects pedal, it just makes sure that the sound outputted from your pedalboard etc has enough impedance (sp?) and is balanced for input into a PA system, or, as was in my case, the balanced input of my guitar/bass amp :slight_smile: (the big wierd plug that has like 3 holes)

What does the Active Injection box do exactly? is it just a signal amplifier?

A Direct Injection (or D-I) box is a very handy piece of equipment for any public address rig or recording studio, whether for band or general use. It will allow you to connect the output from guitar amps, keyboard mixers, tape machines and just about anything else directly to the mixer, without using a microphone, and with no hum loops.
