Splash Damage. I wouldn’t be mad at you guys if you added more stuff into the missions. Like for instance when you’re resistance trying to blow up the reactor. Maybe you could have a dual objective where a team gets into a control room to open and close the doors to the reactor room.
Or an objective that requires both an engineer and operative to complete. Maybe an operative hacks controls to keep a panel open while the engineer repairs whatever is inside or a soldier could in plant explosives in the panel.
I’d like to see some team based objectives where someone helps someone else complete it instead of just standing there. It would ratchet up the tension for sure.
What if there was a secondary objective that put everyone on radar like comms hack? And if offense didn’t want defense tracking them they’d have to go break it?
I think there needs to be more happening to split teams up into smaller groups because sometimes on pub matches everyone roves around as one big gang right to the main objective. Which is fine but probably not SD’s vision for the playstyle. I’d like to see 4 and 4 teams or even 4 teams of 2. And have objectives that they know they have to complete and defense has objectives they can try to rush to get an advantage as well.
A mean one I thought up was an objective that cuts the lights in the other team’s spawn room. So they have to wander through the dark to find their way out. Effectively slowing them down.
Any thoughts?
