MLB map pack beta 2 released !!!!

Here we go, after another few months working on fixing bugs, improving gameplay, fps and adding loads of new features, MLB map pack is released as beta 2 :). The map pack has the following maps:

  • egypt
  • bayraid
  • temple
  • beach
  • hotchkiss
  • carnage
  • daybreak
  • d day

A lot of things have been changed in there which is why we prefer releasing beta 2 instead of final. Lefty is still working on new custom voices to add to the map pack shortly. The map pack can be downloaded as 1 large 65 MB zip file (or individually on each map page) on the MLB website:

Maps are also hosted on the MLB Server provided to us by www.thegameserver.com on the following IP: 83.149.90.89

Once again, Lowlife, Bob & I would really like to thank all the guys who helped prepare this map pack, find bugs and suggest improvements :beer: :beer:

ok, the maps are beta, but i want to report a general bug, which the map pack includes.

if you host a server with the map pack installed.
and you want to change the map over console or the ingame referee menu, the server quits with “couldn’t load an official pak-file”.

without the mappack all works fine, with it - none.
and it don’t matters which map you are running, and to which map you want to change.

i don’t tested voting and the map change after timelimit.

i think it comes from your new shaders for the limbo menu, but thats only a though…

Thanks for reporting the bug Freak. I’ll check that out ASAP and see how it goes on the MLB server :slight_smile:
