Mission Refill

(KeithTalent) #1

Hey all. Been playing or months now, but have only recently been able to focus on getting my missions completed and refilled in a timely manner.

I completed all of my missions earlier today (about 4 hours or so prior) then had to move on to other things in my life, like errands and making my wife happy. At the time it said the missions would respawn in less than two hours, but it’s nearly six hours later and after logging in about two minutes ago, it is now saying two hours to mission respawn. Anybody have any clue what is going on? I left Steam open for most of the time, but aside from that I have been working on other real life things, not playing other Steam games or anything. I expected to come back a couple hours after leaving my last game and be able to just complete my new missions.

Thanks.

Try playing a game and see if they show up then.

Thanks clown. I actually just did that and they have only counted down by about 15 minutes, so no new missions yet though I think they should have come through several hours ago.

@ImSorryDave This is a common bug, one option that you can try is playing objective games and waiting for the missions to refill. After playing a couple of objective games, restart your DB and see if it refills.

I’ve experienced this bug a couple times but the method I’ve stated only worked once for me, as well as my friend (once). It could have been a one trick wonder but it’s still possible it could work. We all know how not having missions can be annoying especially when ready to play for long sessions, good luck

Thanks Chase, appreciate the note. Glad to hear I am not the only one who has experienced this. I tried that fix, but nothing really happened.

I’ve now given up and moved on to some old horror movies. Hopefully tomorrow it will all work as planned!

Cheers.

It’s a known bug. It has happened for a few months now. It just won’t refill sometimes. It sucks badly. Feels like one is being punished for playing regularly. I usually get it a couple of times a week…

From my experience this is a purely visual bug. If you play a match “in the broken cycle” you should see everything accounted and updated properly in the end of the first match.

I’ve experienced this myself a few times and it’s also, for me, always been a visual bug. Eventually I’ll complete one of the missions without knowing it and suddenly the other two show up with partial completions. It’s possible that some people have this particular bug where others have a bug where they simply do not refill properly. It’s super annoying :frowning:

I would make a post in the bug report section and detail when this happened and maybe it can be tracked down.

I did already two bug reports on that way back when it started and a few weeks ago as well. At some point it’ll just become spamming on my part if I keep reporting the same old bug…

I was responding to the OP. I should have quoted them. It’s always better to have more cases be posted.
