Why are there days missing from the campaign?
Missing Days
Because they have to rest too?
Because the what-if scenario’s happen to fill those days?
I have no idea, but it would seem part of the story.
They do have to rest, you know. Intel doesn’t come in every 20 minutes, sometimes it takes time to prepare for a mission.
and the response is “They have to rest” you think they stop for there birthdays to bro?
Buddy boy, in the real world people can’t just traverse an environment with equipment on as well as 2 weapons while CLIMBING and JUMPING constantly while also being fired at and as well as completing objectives every day, day after day. IT JUST DOESN’T HAPPEN. The response of “they have to rest” is a very accurate one, considering they aren’t superhuman. If you are going to be this ignorant, please, by all means, stop posting. Also, you are using the wrong “their”, and “too”.
Maybe it was someone’s birthday.
Or as its i the future maybe it was a national bank holiday or day of rest that has some how changed over the years into the future.
Or maybe they just couldnt be botherd to do anything on those days or was waiting on intel, etc
Its not really missing days, its just certain days where one side had to lose for part of the story to continue for both sides. It seems the actually story doesnt follow either campaign, but jumps between Resistance and Security.
From my take of the story, days 1-3 of Resistance happen, then 4-5 on Security happen, the 6th day being both Resort and Refuel, and then the Resistance fails the escape, so on day 7 Resistance is all “So…What now?” and Chen tells them to threaten to blow up the reactor, which on day 8 the Resistance tries to do, and ultimately fails (as The Ark would be totally destroyed if they did blow it up).
There we have us now, either waiting for the story to continue in DLC, or in the next game, if they make one.
Edit: Hmm, Day 5 on Security is Day 2 for Resistance. So Im sure the “What Ifs” would have to come into play to decide what really happened on which day. However, if the story had to be a combination of them both winning and losing some, I believe Security would ultimately stop Resistance from escaping, since Securitys story continues after Refuel.
Try not to look too hard at continuity in the story. It’s the setting that counts. “It’s been over 20 years since we’ve seen an airplane” and yet they still haven’t taken down the airline adverts that say “Now serving Lima” in the airport. You’d think that if there was no more jet fuel for commercial flight they’d stop advertising it…
