Miscellaneous + Tech Questions

Any help or advice regarding these issues would be appreciated. PC specs and settings listed below. Made this in general hoping for more visibility. Mods can move as they see fit. Thanks!

1.) Fullscreen setting selected in main menu, windowed setting on in-game. For whatever reason I cannot turn on fullscreen in the in-game settings menu. Game appears to run fullscreen, main menu setting is fullscreen, and Alt+Enter makes my game windowed w/border. Not sure if this is just a menu UI glitch or not? Have refreshed Windows, verified game files, deleted configs, etc. No change.

2.) Specific settings switching on or high with updates. Texture quality, particle detail, radial blur, distortion, filtered distortion, and lens flares do this when game is updated. Also, certain game settings are stored somewhere other than user config files. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game (as recommended by tech support…) and see how many game settings do not reset.

3.) Creators Update and fullscreen optimizations. After installing CU I had a lot of the same issues players were reporting in DB and other games. I made the changes suggested for OW - turning off game mode and fullscreen optimizations for DB. This helped but the fullscreen optimizations setting reverts every time I restart DB. Not having this issue with other games, not sure if it is an issue with my permissions/PC or not.

4.) Texture streaming, freezes, stutters, input lag. Often in firefights mouse input lags and/or slows. This seems to happen more often when enemies have a high and/or fluctuating ping or are strafing with crouch very rapidly. Certain dodging/strafing really makes it feel like my game is lagging as well as my mouse despite FPS staying at cap. I like using G-Sync but I cannot get it to work properly in DB. Even with cap set below monitor refresh and Vsync off it still messes with mouse input.

With the Dockyard update I’m getting stutters and brief freezes, again mostly in firefights.

Made these two changes last night and mouse input was immediately more responsive. However, I still get random freezes and stutters mid firefight that cause mouse to lag as well. Tried just turning off texturestreaming initially to see if it would make a difference though it seems like there are better ways to accomplish the same thing?

can confirm this is happening to me too.

but i dont know things about technical stuff tho
