Well I have come across a problem with the misc_portal_surface.
First off, it works great in a standalone test map with basic atmospheric settings (no fog).
But when/if I add a global fog ( _fog parameter to the worldspawn), the portal no longer functions.
I was hoping someone maybe had a way around this. I have already talked to Erik who included the misc_portal_surface back into the .def files, but it wasn’t something he knew about, so I am taking the issue public.
Most of you may not know right away because you haven’t messed with the old entities like portals in Enemy Territory, I know I hadn’t until lately, but it would be really nice if I could get this to work.
I don’t HAVE to have the portal in the map, but I DO have to have my _fog.
