I’m trying to create a crane (similar to railgun). I can do all the mechanics using path_corners and the misc_beam entity for the crane cable.
But (isn’t there always a but…), I’m haing problems with the crane cable. It looks fine, but I can see the cable through all my brushes (so, I’m inside a room, look at the crane, and I see the cable through the wall :banghead: ) I guess this has something to due with the misc_beam acting like an electronic beam and requiring a shader. The shader used for railgun is not provided. I’m guessing that I’m missing something in the shader I am using.
Any ideas?
