Just started checking out the minecraft shader mods- AND OMG! If you haven’t used them yet, get them… they are an enormous improvement to the visuals of the game.

Eventually there should be a full combination of all of the shader mods into one complete package! With optifine I still retain great FPS using x256 texture packs, get a solid 80 with all shader settings :).
I’ve used the shader mod, it’s looks great but keeps crashing my computer 
I wish it would work with the water shader mod aswell, that would be awesome.
It took me a few tries to get everything to work, but it’s very easy now. Make sure your doing everything manually; starting with removing the META-INF and dropping the modlauncher .class files into the minecraft.jar.
Nah i did it right, i meant to say i kept running out of memory (I just have a crap amount of ram). I love playing with the Explosives 2.5 mod, even if it does freeze my computer for 5 mins.
