Mind telling me why I am only playing with bots?

I try to join a free play objective mode and I am the only person or theres only 2 more people. Why would I want to play with/against bots?
I bought this game thinking im going to play 8vs8. Sounded like fun because it looked like TF2,
but who likes bots?
I like the game, what i dont like is playing unskilled bots.
did they actually make it 4players only and 4 bots only on each team?
Will it change?

I hope it does because I dont want to be that animal underneath me

I think nobody plays this game anymore^^ At least on consoles.

Check out this post, very informative about console matchmaking. I personally searched for the PSN ID thread and added about 10-15 people tonight, we’ll see what happens.

Well I noticed tonight, for the first time, I joined a Big Teams game and was in a game filled with humans and 1 bot. Was awesome for a change. And I didn’t have anyone in my friends’ list in the game. Maybe SD is still making changes to their side that aren’t patch necessary.

I think it’s stupid how they added bots into multiplayer. It’s bad enough that the campaign is just offline multiplayer match against bots. Cooperative is the same, except with friends this time. Pretty dumb that they couldn’t do something clever. For example, I hate to give COD credit, but MW2’s Spec Ops was really fun with friends. Standard freeplay is basically the same thing as campaign and cooperative, except each team has a mix of humans AND bots.

I hope I’m not the only one that thinks bots should have been left out of freeplay. It would be so much easier finding populated 8v8 games if bots weren’t included. But since matchmaking connects players to games with good connection to the host, those games usually are mostly filled with bots.

I feel ur pain…im on 360 and i can hardly find more than 2-3 people in a match…i had similar expectations u have explained and i actually got into a decent 8 human match…to find out it was 6 vs 2 and not one of them had the decency to even out the teams…it was ridiculous, and having dumb bots made me so much happier /sarcasm

The game is dying.

FASTER THAN ANY GAME HAS DIED EVER

within 2 weeks, it will be a ghost town. I honestly feel like they should have to refund us our money at this point.

Since they promised single player, and there isnt one.

or maybe you are uninformed and uneducated. there is a singleplayer campaign. but your definition of it interpreted something into it that isnt brink.

you should have looked at the other games splash damage has released and you should have looked at some gameplay videos before spending your hard earned money i guess.

dont blame others for your fault man. and put your frustration somewhere else. if you read only one review you would have known what brink is all about. i guess you only saw the ad, got hyped and bought it. thats wrooong, man.

oh. and this game wont die. it will be played for quite some years. wolfenstein enemy territory is in its 8 year now and there are still a few thousand servers online…

Wolfenstein ET is a good game.

and I did look at videos. Go look at the videos that were out pre launch, they showed in game scripted dialogue and missions not cut scenes and the same boring maps. They gave the impression that there was a single player campaign.
