Min level 10 server feedback

A swift summary of my experience with these servers:

Positive:

-Higher level of play than regular pub servers.

-Less cheaters (personally I haven’t ran into a single one, but I don’t know about others’ experiences).

Negative:

-Only 7v7 servers? 6v6 would be the logical choice, assuming that we still can’t have 5v5 pub servers.

-They’re empty, and I suspect that it’s because quick join isn’t placing people onto these servers.

-There’s currently no way of searching for these servers, specifically, outside of filtering by name.

Post your feedback and suggestions, people.

You are able to search for them by entering their name in the “server-name”-filter. For us it’s either “eu - min level 10 - objective” or “eu - min level 10 - stopwatch”.
But to be honest, you have to have all servers checked, thus refrshing will take ages, and even then, you often simply don’t get all of them shown, populated or not.

On the feedback, I agree with you two, minus the player-collision-thing. To many unintended positions, you could reach by building stuff with yourselves, I guess.
And the lvl10 could be lvl15 now :P.

They are either full or empty. It takes 5 minutes or more of waiting in queue to get in

i found all of them empty round 1pm

Joined one with my mate to start a map; within 3 min the server got completely full. Wasn’t even peak time.

Yep takes some time, and if you are up to a quick game or doing your missions, it’s no alternative.
But you sure can start a new one, if you want, and it will get filled up pretty quick.

Another flaw: there’s a couple of these servers that show one or two players in the counter, but actually have none playing on them.
This creates confusion.

As for suggestions; I suggest adding search function, for exclusively searching for these servers, or optionally, excluding them from the search, and the same for “Max level 5 servers”.
Also a quickjoin option for joining min level 10 servers specifically would be neat.
This should increase the population of these servers.

well, this is just them ghost players that plague all of DB’s servers.

i was trying to solve this problem (wanted to force them to disconnect with a power of my mind), but it didnt workd out.

Through quick-join I get thrown into L10+ servers on a regular basis.

I just had a game where there were 2 players on our side and none on the other. We proceeded to finish the objectives in record speed. Only in the last part an enemy came in.

I’m sure this isn’t supposed to happen?

It is hard to find level 10 servers time to time because server filter has mind of its own.
Would not hurt if SW servers were 6vs6 and obj 7vs7.

I have never seen an AUS min level 10 server with any players in them.

After today i got to change my opinion…
Level10? Right name! Mostly filled with lvl10, even some lvl11 this afternoon @ eu, playing worse than hysterical chicken, trying to implement battlefield here. Thanks to the youtuber-promo-campaign, really thx.
So do we get lvl15-min-servers now, or 20? Or are you finally able to implement some skillbased-servers for people not having a team to play premade-competative vs bots and their friends @MissMurder ?

I’ve been waiting for this “I told you so” since the original demands for minimum level servers hit the forums. :smiley:

Minimum level servers are a band-aid. Not a solution.

Better idea = Minimum Competitive Rank casual servers. Require all players joining to be Gold V or better(or something like that).

When the original demands for minimum level started competitive ranks weren’t a thing. Now that they are, maybe the system can be leveraged?

totally disagree: they ARE the solution. When them good players flock onto a min lvl10 servers, many a ‘newbie lvl 10’ will think twice before joining. The longer they will be online, the more reputation they will gather as ruthless servers for hardcore players.

Nothing better than minlvl10 servers happened to pub games since… ever, really.

The only thing that would top it off is FF and collision on server.

I’ve had good experiences in the min 10 servers (being shown how bad my aim is), but I definitely support adding Friendly Fire and 6vs6 servers.

the few times i’ve played in em it’s always been epic. I get my face stomped for the first few minutes of not being used to the aggressive players, but then i get into it and start pewpewing properly. Really really good practice to go against good players :smiley:

Pretty fun although, for some reason it feels as if people are a lot more edgy where if you rub them the wrong way they explode quicker.

I also like the minimum lvl 10 Servers (i get owned there mostly but it is way more fun playing on them than noobbashing), and i can’t wait to have 6v6 ones there too (was the 1st thing i noticed, that they only made 7v7 ones… and i prefer 6v6 Servers).
