min and max mapcoords??

i finally got easygen to export some working terrain, but what do i set my min and max coords? I tried setting them to the inside corners of my skybox, the outside cornersof the skybox, and completly outside the skybox but none of them work. When i try to make a trace map it says “Mapcoords not valid” or something like that. plz help meh!

Look in the xy view in Radiant. Then pick find the min x and max x, and min y and max y of your map. I believe mapcoords must be square, so use the largest absolute value of the number (call it A)

Then mapcoordsmins -A A, mapcoordsmaxs A -A

duh, figured it out. i had “mapcoordsmin” instead of mapcoordsmins. thnx for the reply.
