Milkshape Prob...

Hi,

i know this isn´t the right Board for that but i guess someone in here knows how…

I made a simple Model with Milkshape, a Ball.
I textured it with a gold texture btw. works fine.
Now i want that trancperent red on my model, cause it should be a
mapobjectiv to steal.

My problem i to get the texture on the Ball.
I searched the textures dir for that but just fund a glass tex!
I opend the shader and found the entitys for that.

I never saw the texture inside a model dir, so there is another way to put it on the
model.

Can someone tell me how i get it on?

Do you mean you have exported the model to md3?
There’s a line in the needed qc-file that points to the texture.
If the specified TGA (or JPG) doesn’t exist the engine looks for a shader.
So you can specify a TGA or a shader in that path.

Set $skin in the .qc file to textures/mapfx/translucent_red.tga
